Shop for a Cause Program The downturn of the national economy has had an adverse affect on charitable and non-profit organizationsas well as many local businesses. In order to counteract this trend, many non-profits, like Center for Wildlife are partnering with local merchants. The Shop for a Cause program will help Center for Wildlife provide critical medical care to local wildlife and community education programs and it will also introduce new customers to our business partners - local merchants like you! How does it work? All you have to do is register to participate in our Wild About Shopping program. Once your application is approved, your business will be identified as a Friend of Center for Wildlife. Soon after, your selected "Wild About Shopping" dates will be posted on our website, events calendar Facebook page - (with close to 1,000 friends), listed in our monthly e-newsletter (with over 3,000 subscribers), promoted through our other partners like local schools and community groups, and announced in local radio spots and newspapers (when available). We will ask all of our mutual friends to also promote your Wild About Shopping date(s) on their own websites and Facebook pages to acknowledge you as a Friend of the Center for Wildlife deserving of their patronage. Our goal is to make this a long lasting partnership that brings new (and frequent) customers to your door while helping us continue our mission of wildlife rescue and education. How do I sign up?
